There are many areas within our church that need volunteers to serve. God has given each one of us unique gifts and talents to serve Him and His kingdom. Let us help you find an area of service that is the right fit for you.
As followers of Christ, we reach out to help meet the spiritual/physical needs of the many people within the United States. Here are some areas that we, as a fellowship of believers, serve on a regular basis.
Local Food Pantry
PRC – Pregnancy Resource Center – St. Joseph, MO
The PRC provides pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, STD testing, tangible assistance, and counseling for abortion-minded women. Every patient has the opportunity to engage in a spiritual conversation with an advocate, which includes a Gospel presentation. Currently 84% of women who are abortion-vulnerable choose life after viewing their child on the ultrasound screen.
The Source Medical Clinic – Crisis Pregnancy Center – Maryville, MO
This organizations provides free medical services to those in need including, pregnancy tests, abortion counseling, birth control, STD testing and treatment.
This is a Christ-centered community offering freedom and hope to the poor and homeless, empowering them to reach their full potential. KCRM offers relief, recovery, and reentry services to homeless individuals surviving on Kansas City’s streets.
The American Indian Christian Mission – Show Low, AZ
The AICM is a ministry arm of churches that have their roots in the restoration movement to ” Evangelize and Equip Native Americans for Christ.”
River of Hope Fellowship supports several international missionaries and mission organizations that carry the message of Jesus Christ around the world.
Rachel Helm, along with her children Tristan, Jocelyne and Logan, live and serve as a missionary in Xai Xai, Mozambique and Tarkastad, South Africa, with Unitas International. The focus of her ministry efforts is to minister through example and to instill ideas of sustainability, empowerment, and ownership into the members of their community.
Inspired by the book of James, LBW helps Christians in America truly embrace what it means to live like Christ by empowering and encouraging others to put faith in action in personal, real, and tangible ways through orphan care and outreach projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
